First things first

The Seton Debate Club has been formed so that Seton students may openly debate and discuss the topics which Catholic youth of today face. I hope that membership grows in the coming weeks and we can engage in our first debate!
But, first things first, let's settle into what this site is for. I envision groups of Setoners debating topics-as a team. Or, perhaps, we could have certain people debate each other one-on-one. Each team or individual will have a pre-determined number of replies (so as to keep it simple and difficult), and after all debaters have had their turns, a poll will be set up to determine the winner.
For teams, a week or so before the beginning of the debate should suffice for all team members to gather their info and elect a captain who will post that team's arguments. For individuals, a few days should do it.
Anyway, that's the basic gist of the forums. Post suggestions, team requests, etc., in the "Discussions" forum.
